Virtual Bridge Between Harmony and Ivy

We have had our first virtual collaboration between IVY and Harmony students on May 19th. IVY International School students met with the American Rocketry Challenge Team from Harmony School of Endeavor-Austin in a live virtual setting. Harmony Rocketry Team just returned from the National Rocketry Challenge competition that was held in Washington DC, USA. They shared their learning experience with IVY students. Students from both schools engaged in deeper conversations about the foundation of rocket science. Students exchanged their knowledge and excitement with one another and they learned how to collaborate with their peers across the world.

Ivy International School’s commitment for teaching 21st century skills to students will grow stronger with these collaboration bridges. We wish all of our students and teachers the best of luck in our upcoming STEM Expo!

Ski Fun!

On Saturday, May 21st grades 5 to 8 had a memorable experience having "Christmas in July" at Ski Egypt. In the beginning of the year our students put all their request for trips, spirit days, and community service ideas in a suggestion box. Later after establishing the student union we were able to execute three of these ideas this year (Pajama Day, Toy/Clothes Drive, & Ski Egypt). Extremely proud of our student union and glad that everyone had a great time. Way to go Student Union!
