We are excited to share that IVY STEM International Schools is proudly encouraging our students to participate in the Harvard Undergraduate Science Olympiad (HUSO) – Middle East, a prestigious science competition organized by Harvard University in collaboration with Learn with Leaders.

This exceptional opportunity is open to students in Grades 7–10 across the Middle East, aimed at inspiring young minds through an engaging journey in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

What is HUSO?

HUSO is a Harvard student-run initiative that hosts global Science Olympiad competitions, promoting accessible, hands-on STEM education. This year, the Olympiad is coming to the Middle East, bringing world-class mentorship and academic challenges to our region.

📅 Program Structure:

 🔹 Round 1: A online exam scheduled
 🔹 Round 2: The Top 100 students (50 from each age category) will qualify for a 4-day in-person STEM bootcamp and final exam in Dubai, January 2026, led by mentors from Harvard University.

🏅 Awards & Recognition:

 ✅ All participants receive an official Certificate of Participation from HUSO
 🥇 Top 100 finalists receive medals and access to the STEM bootcamp
 🏆 Top 10 winners receive distinction medals and a $200 scholarship voucher
 🎓 The Top Winner earns a fully funded Summer Camp at Harvard University
