One of the amazing things about our school is the fact that we have the ability to integrate virtual learning to create a reality of the subject content to come to life! For the past two weeks, our grade 1 to 8 students took their math lessons via VR, how cool was that!
As you might have noticed there has been a significant increase in temperature over the last few days!
With heat waves coming and going and in order to ensure our student's safety and wellbeing (preventing heat stroke), on days where the temperature is too high students will be doing indoor sports and activities.
Based on the weather forecast this week, breaks, PE sessions, and clubs scheduled outside will be held with alternative activities inside. We are closely monitoring the weather daily and if the temperature drops, outside activities will resume.
We know our students are willing to do anything to play outside but kindly assist us at home by encouraging them to stay hydrated throughout the day and by helping them understand that safety comes first!
We wish our students a healthy and fulfilling rest of the year!
